What You'll See
How It Works
Your Day, Step by Step
First Stop
Windsor Castle
Your first stop is an interior visit of Windsor Castle. Once inside, your guide will accompany you — the castle requires visitors to use their audio equipment, so your guide will show you the best way to navigate around and maximise your time. Castle entry fees apply: Adult £30 · Young Person (18–24) £19.50 · Child (5–17) £15 · Disabled £15 · Access companion free · Under 5 free. Once your group size is confirmed, your guide will arrange the castle entry tickets.
Next
Windsor Town & Lunch
After the castle, you will walk through the historic town of Windsor, nestled on the banks of the River Thames. A spot of lunch is a wonderful way to rest during this day excursion — your guide will make a reservation at a prime riverside location before you continue on to Runnymede.
Final Stop
Runnymede & the Magna Carta
In 1215, King John came to Runnymede to meet angry church leaders and land barons who believed the taxes to fund the war in France were too high. On 15th June, King John signed the Magna Carta (Great Charter of Liberty), enshrining people's rights into law. This milestone has provided inspiration for many important constitutional documents, including the 1791 United States Bill of Rights. Here you will learn about the history of the Magna Carta, walk through the meadow to see the stunning Jurors' Memorial (unveiled on the 800th anniversary in 2015), and visit the John F. Kennedy Memorial.

The riverside lunch was a lovely touch — such a relaxed and beautifully organised day. We felt like we had a real insider showing us around rather than just a tour guide.

We had been to London several times but never ventured out to Windsor. This tour made it so easy and so special. The JFK Memorial was a real surprise — deeply moving.
