Born From a Love of London
My name is Paul Williams and I am the head guide and tour director of Cabital City Tours London. The idea was founded on a simple belief: that the best way to discover London is with someone who truly knows it. Not a script, not a headset, not a coach full of strangers — just you, your group, and a guide who has spent years learning every street, every story, and every hidden corner of this extraordinary city.
Our guides have all passed the Knowledge of London — the rigorous examination that requires years of study and is widely regarded as the most demanding test of local knowledge in the world. When you travel with us, you are in the hands of someone who has earned the right to call themselves a London expert. They have also passed an extra guiding qualification which is run by the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers and the education branch of the Museum of London.
Every tour we run is completely private. We do not mix groups, we do not rush, and we do not follow a fixed route if something better presents itself. Your tour is yours — shaped around your interests, your pace, and your time in the city.
